Acupuncture
Acupuncture activates and releases the body’s “happy hormones” (known as endorphins) to give you that “great to be back on your feet” feeling.
This ancient healing art with a history spanning 3000 years originated from China. To this day acupuncture has been refined from all corners of the globe, combining old texts with new scientific studies.
Acupuncture restores homeostasis in the body and is highly effective in treating an array of conditions ranging from stress related symptoms to muscular skeletal problems. Its success in pain management is well documented, and it was for this reason acupuncture was initially introduced to the West.

For months, the pain in my right shoulder had been slowly getting worse. It got to a point where I couldn't lift anything with my right arm, and sleeping on my right side was no longer just uncomfortable, but painful.
I'd known of acupuncture, but had never tried this way of healing. When I finally approached Scott to help with my shoulder, his single accupuncture treatment worked immediately. I couldn't believe it. It has opened my eyes to a whole new world of healing, and I would recommend Scott's services to anyone.

Reflective Listening
Reflective Listening is where you get to know and understand yourself. In this supportive, relaxed environment you have the permission to let go. You have the freedom to talk about anything you choose. I will support you by listening. When you have finished talking I will reflect certain points back to you that I feel need to be explored. Through this exploration you will learn about patterns, belief systems and what is holding you back in life.
Daily stress and most illnesses are the products of childhood experiences. Between the ages of birth and 7 years, an incident will set up your views on life. Then between ages 7 and 12 a similar scenario will concrete this belief system in your subconscious mind. From this point everything you do in life will be ruled by this belief system. Through the understanding of these beliefs and the increased awareness of patterns you will be able to live a happier, more playful and productive life.
Reflective Listening can assist with issues related to:
- Career direction
- Making dreams come true
- Childhood trauma
- Relationships
- Everyday stress
- Physical injuries

The experiences I have had so far with Scott have been great! I found his professional, caring and supportive nature together with his level of knowledge and willingness to look outside the square have really helped me. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending his services to anyone who needs them.

During sad/down times I asked for Scott's help, asked for Scott to listen to me, he did, he listened carefully. I felt safe. Scott taught me to let go at the most crucial time in order to move forward. I was sceptical and it took me a long time before I did; actually, I had forgotten about it until at a time, I did 'let go' and his words haunted me at that moment. Scott never pushed but merely guided me towards a self realisation with his suppportive and gentle way of healing. He made me feel loved even when I was alone. Thank you, Scott.

Dit-Da
Ancient warriors wounded from battle were the first to benefit from Dit-Da. The Shaolin Temple monks later adopted it for use on injuries from intense Kung-fu training.
Dit-Da uses a potent blend of Chinese herbs mixed with wine to form a paste, which is applied externally on the body.
Dit-Da is excellent for treating ligament and tendon injuries, internal bruising, post-dislocations and minor nerve damage, when combined with acupuncture healing is accelerated.

In today's world, miracles are no longer common occurrences and we often only hear of stories that end in disappointments or failed expectations. Well, my story is a little different because of a wonderful ending and a sense of fulfilment. It goes a little something like this..."I had an awful backpain, now I don't." I was in extreme agony for days until a sympathetic friend recommended a visit to Back On Your Feet in Circular Quay. I've always been proud of possessing a self-healing body but as the years urge on, you notice that this quality fades over time. Hesitatingly and without too much hope of alleviating my backpain, I seeked help anyway. An hour of holistic treatment in a first-class environment I walked out of the clinic a better person physically as well as mentally. They say miracles come in three's but I'd settle for the one I received. Thanks to all at Back On Your Feet!

Acu-Face-Lift
The word is OUT!!!
The treatment that celebrities and socialites in New York, L.A. and London are turning to for a fresh, youthful look; may sound like a new and wonderful discovery has in fact been around for centuries!
Even before needles were invented, acupressure was used by Chinese Dynasty Emperors and their courtesans to treat a variety of health concerns. Women of the royal court use to regularly massage special points on their face and body to maintain their youth and beauty.
Later when needles became available, they were inserted into the face and body for accelerated results.
The beauty of Yin and Yang...
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a sophisticated system of medicine with a history spanning 3000 years. The philosophy is based on the laws of nature seeking balance. This balance is known as Yin and Yang, two polar opposites that can not exist without each other.
Yin is cold and Yang is hot and without the other, our bodies either burn up or freeze to death. Energy circulates through invisible pathways in our body to keep us warm and strong. Each pathway is connected to an internal organ. When the energy in the pathways become blocked, empty or overflows, our internal organs are directly affected, causing us to become ill and age prematurely.
Blood is Yin and keeps our bodies lubricated, preventing us from getting too hot. It nourishes our skin and provides our body with nutrients to build collagen but as we age, it starts to wane, causing our skin to slacken and lose its glow.
"At 35 years, the stomach and large Intestine pathways that govern the major facial muscles begin to deplete, the muscles begin to atrophy, facial wrinkles appear, and hair begins to thin"
Yellow Emperor's Classic of Medicine
The beauty of acupuncture is its ability to affect the flow of energy in pathways to benefit our whole body, so what is deficient is nourished, what is too cold is warmed, what is too hot is cooled and what is stagnant is moved. It follows the principle that beauty radiates from the inside out. When our energy is flowing smoothly, our blood is abundant and our organs are strong, beauty reveals itself externally.
Every face tells a story...
The shape of the mouth, spirit in the eyes, the lines and colouring of the face can reveal much information about the person's level of health and vitality to a skilled practitioner. TCM is about treating the whole body, looking for patterns and harmonising what is out of balance. As such, Acu-Face-Lift works on more than just the lines on the face; it benefits and restores the entire body (which ultimately manifests externally!)
Not ready to show your age?
Acu-Face-Lift is a non-surgical, relatively pain-free anti-aging procedure that effectively reduces the signs of aging. It is the perfect solution for anyone concerned about surgery, scaring, incisions, anaesthesia and facial immobilising injections.
Research shows...
The 1996 International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture revealed the results of an eight-year study on facial acupuncture. Conducted on 300 cases having just one course of treatment, 90% saw a marked improvement in elasticity, a reduction of fine lines and a smoother complexion.
What does Acu-Face-Lift involve and how does it work?
Acu-Face-Lift requires the insertion of approximately 25 fine hair-thin needles into specific points on the face. The needles gently stimulate and activate the energy flow along the pathways to generate and circulate blood, and restore collagen. This has the effect of nourishing, hydrating, toning and diminishing the appearance of wrinkles. The result is a firmer, healthier and radiant complexion.
How long will it take to see improvements?
A course of treatment consists of 12 sessions; 2 sessions per week for 6 weeks. The duration of each session is 1 - 1.5 hours. As the therapeutic effects are cumulative, it is important that during the course of treatment you do not miss any sessions. Each course is sold as a package to ensure results. The response varies depending on the person's age and lifestyle but generally results are visibly noticeable after 6 - 8 sessions. Single monthly 'top-up' sessions are not only recommended to ensure lasting results but also for general wellbeing.
