AFSC – The Association
The Association of Feng Shui Consultants is an independent, non-profit organisation founded in 2005, run on a voluntary basis by a committee elected from the membership. We intend to inform and educate the public about Traditional Feng Shui and provide a list of qualified consultants for their convenience.
AFSC members work in areas of residential and business and are qualified Feng Shui professionals committed to the Association's Code of Ethics. AFSC membership denotes a commitment to professionalism and has been developed to maintain, support, educate and share the passion for Feng Shui.
Our Mission
- Promote the integrity and benefits of Feng Shui to the public
- Promote continuing education for our Consultants & the public
- Promote, develop and monitor competence in the practice of Feng Shui
- Develop relationships with professional training institutions
- Set professional standards for Feng Shui in Australia
- Liaise with the public who wish to learn more about Feng Shui
Membership benefits include a photo listing on the AFSC website, forum to communicate between each other through an on-line member’s only site, insurance details, quarterly newsletters, read or contribute to various articles, details of professional training institutions and educational and networking opportunities during the year.

Membership Details
AFSC offers various levels of membership covering all stages of a consultant's career: Trainee and varying degrees of Professional Consultant, each of which has a variety of benefits and responsibilities. Students / Trainees are FREE!!
New members will pay a percentage of the full membership fee of $98.00 based on the quarter they join, for example:
July 1 – Sept 30 $98.00
Oct 1 – Dec 31 $73.50
Jan 1 – Mar 31 $49.00
Apr 1 – June 30 $24.50
STUDENTS are FREE!!!!
Memberships are renewed annually on July 1

Applicants for the grades must satisfy the Association that they possess the educational requirements. This can be demonstrated by:
Platinum Member
The higher of our levels of full membership. Available to practitioners who have received their certificate or equivalent qualification in ALL schools listed below:
- Form School
- Flying Star School
- At least one of the following - Geomancy, Chinese Astrology, Space Clearing/Sacred Space
Gold Member
Full membership at this level requires the practitioner to have gained their certificate or equivalent qualification in ALL schools listed below:
- Form School
- Flying Star School
Silver Member
Full membership at this level requires the practitioner to have gained their certificate or equivalent qualification from ONE of the schools listed below.
- Form School, Compass School, Geomancy, Chinese Astrology or Space Clearing/Sacred Space
Bronze Member
The Trainee/student level is designed to give Feng Shui students access to the support, activities and benefits of the Association. The requirements are
- An interest in Feng Shui
- Applicants are undertaking or planning to undertake Feng Shui studies of sufficient quality to gain membership as per the levels listed above.
*Trainees are NOT members of the Association and do not have voting rights. They are generally expected to complete sufficient training within two years to upgrade to membership level. |
